How to get here
Train
As a hub for international train routes, Munich is connected directly to many European capitals via the rail network.
Visit the Deutsche Bahn website to enquire about connections and book tickets online.
The station for the exhibition grounds is "München Messestadt Ost", for Munich central station search for "München Hauptbahnhof".
Air
The venue is well connected to Munich’s Franz Josef Strauß Airport. For more details on flights to Munich please refer to www.munich-airport.com.
Shuttle buses to the exhibition grounds will be operating at regular intervals on all show days. Upon arrival at the airport, simply follow the signs to the shuttle bus stop. Tickets can be purchased directly on the bus or online, EUR 11 one way and EUR 17 with return. It runs every 30 mins.
Exhibitors, FMG members, press representatives and organisers can use the shuttle bus free of charge upon presentation of their ticket.
Please note, tickets bought without a badge will not be reimbursed.
The airport is also well conntected to Munich city centre by suburban trains (S-Bahn) and taxis.
Public Transport
You can reach the exhibition grounds quickly and easily via the local transport network.
For detailed information, including a journey planner, ticket prices and an app, please visit the website of MVV, the local transport provider.
The stop closest to the entrance for inter airport Europe is "München, Messestadt Ost". Travel time from Munich central station to the exhibition grounds is about 25 minutes by U-Bahn (subway).
Please note: The U-Bahn will stop at "München, Messestadt West" first. Please remain on the train for one further stop until you arrive at "München, Messestadt Ost".
