How to reach us

Many roads lead to inter airport Europe 2019!

Munich Trade Fair Centre is located on the eastern fringe of the city and is well connected to the local transport infrastructure. There are several options you can chose from how to get to the Munich exhibition grounds, depending whether you arrive by plane at Munich Airport or by car or train.

Arriving by Plane

Shuttle Bus

A regular shuttle bus service to and from Munich Airport will run during the exhibition. A one-way trip takes approx. 45 minutes. Tickets are available via the  Shuttle Online Ticket Shop or on the shuttle (cash only).

Public Transport

U-Bahn

The U2 subway (U-Bahn) offers a direct connection from the city centre to the venue. Visitors are advised to get off at Messestadt Ost in order to get to the Entrance East. Trains are operating from 4.00am to 1.00am and run every 5 minutes during peak times.

Tickets

The type of ticket required depends on the number of zones visitors travel through. The Messestadt Ost U-Bahn stop is still in the inner zone. For a detailed overview please go to MVV Tickets & Fares.

Tickets are available for purchase on ticket machines (cash or credit card) or via the MVV Online Ticket Shop.

Deutsche Bahn Train Network

Travelling with Deutsche Bahn is a safe and convenient option for journeys within Germany.

Taxi

The fixed-price for a one-way ride costs €67 and takes about 35 minutes, depending on traffic. Please note: This offer is only valid on the shortest distance in kilometres between the airport and the exhibition grounds. Taxis are located in front of the terminals and at the East Entrance of the Munich Trade Fair Centre.

Arriving by car or train

Arriving by car

The Munich Trade Fair Centre is directly located on the A94 motorway and can be reached using either the exit ‘Feldkirchen-West (Exit No. 6) or ‘München-Riem’ (Exit No.5). The venues traffic control system will guide visitors to the nearest parking areas.

When using a navigation system the venue can be listed under the category “Event Centre”, “Exhibition Grounds” or “Trade Fair”.
