With the airport industry becoming more digital and advanced, it relies on solution-focused products and technologies that help to develop the airport industry further. This year, we will again be rewarding exhibiting companies for their best ideas in four different categories.
The categories TERMINAL, DATA and GSE will be honouring best practices and products that have proven to impress the airport community.
To reward visionary companies for their innovative and forward-thinking ideas in sustainability there will be a fourth category this year: SUSTAINABILITY.
The Award Categories
Covers all solutions and equipment for terminal operations, infrastructure and technical installations as well as interior specifications and furnishings, architectural design, equipment and planning stage of the airport.
Covers all airport IT systems, data management solutions as well as connected systems and IT processes to handle passengers, operations as well as air traffic.
Covers ground handling and ground support equipment, as well as runway construction and installations.
This special award rewards visionary, innovative and striking new ideas, products and services that are providing sustainable solutions for the future airport.

1. The awards can be entered by all registered exhibitors of inter airport Europe 2023.
2. Entries must be received by the published deadline. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of posting or sending is not proof of receipt. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid. Entries become the property of the Promoter.
3. Mack Brooks Exhibitions Ltd (“The Promoter”) reserves the right to reject any entries which do not fulfil the entry qualifications listed on the competition page.
4. The Promoter reserves the right to remove categories before voting commences if not enough entries are received by the deadline.
5. One company cannot enter twice in the same category but can only send one entry for a single category (maximum of 4).
6. No entrant can win more than one award.
7. No cash alternative to the awards will be offered. The awards are not transferable.
8. Any one individual can cast a maximum of four votes (one for each category).
9. Voting closes at midnight on the date specified on the website.
10. Winners will be chosen as a result of a vote conducted via the inter airport Europe website.
11. The winner will be notified via email or telephone. The winner must confirm the acceptance of the award within three working days of the Promoter sending notification. If the award is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse, and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed award to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.
12. Winners are expected to keep their status confidential until the formal announcements have been made at the ceremony on-site at inter airport Europe 2023.
13. Awards will only be handed to winners at the ceremony on 10 October 2023 at inter airport Europe 2023. Shipping by mail is not possible. The Promoter will not cover travel/accommodation costs to Germany for the ceremony at the exhibition.
14. Winners agree to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.
